4.1.6 机关
当作为组织机构的代名词时，译为organization，例如：中国共产党北京市委员会市直属机关 Organizations directly under the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China。
当作为定语，表示 “机关内部事务”时，译为intra-organization,，例如：北京市民政局机关后勤服务中心，译为Intra-Organization Service Center of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs。
4.1.7 其他机构
协会译为association，联合会译为federation，学会译为society或institute，集团公司译为group，某某有限公司译为 XXX Co. Ltd.，某某控股公司译为XXX Holdings Company或XXX Holdings Co. Ltd.。
4.1.8 其他要求
4.1.8.1 在北京市政府所属的部门前面，一律用municipal，表示这些部门同市政府的从属关系，例如：北京市质量技术监督局，译为Beijing Municipal Administration of Quality and Technology Supervision。属于北京市属机关的机构或者其他机构，虽然含有“北京市”字样，但不用municipal，例如：北京市消费者协会，译为Beijing Consumers’ Association。
4.1.8.2 组织机构的中文简称，应根据其属性、隶属关系等完整翻译，例如：北京市政协，译为Beijing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference。
4.1.8.3 各级组织机构名称的通用名词英文译法按照附录A执行。
4.2 英文格式
4.2.1 名称中涉及所属关系介词的使用要求
多层地域所属关系应采用介词短语形式表示，例如：北京市昌平区劳动和社会保障局，译为 Changping District Bureau of Labor and Social Security of Beijing Municipality。
市、区作为地域概念修饰词时，译为 municipal 和 district，直接放在被修饰的名词如“局、委”之前，而不采用介词短语的方式，例如：密云县公安局，译为 Miyun County Bureau of Public Security。
组织机构的从属关系应描述清晰完整，例如：北京市东城区妇女联合会，译为Dongcheng District Women’s Federation of Beijing Municipality。
有多重从属属性的组织机构，在名称翻译时，应尽量避免重复使用介词，例如：中国共产主义青年团北京市丰台区委员会，译为Beijing Fengtai District Committee of Communist Youth League of China。
4.2.2 定冠词
定冠词尽量不用，例如：北京市东城区人民政府民族宗教侨务办公室，译为Ethnic, Religious and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Dongcheng District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality。
组织机构名称中有“中国共产党”、“中国人民政治协商会议”等国家级固定名词的，须加上定冠词。
